DESCRIPTION

Stair Tread Covers and Nosings

Fiberglass Stair Tread Covers and Nosings provide a convenient and dependable way to provide a slip-resistant footing for existing stairs that are still structurally sound.  They can be installed over concrete, wood, or metal steps.  A top grit surface provides a secure footing for maximum safety.  A standard nosing and a highly visible safety yellow make them extremely safe.

Manufactured with reinforced woven glass mat for impact resistance and durability.  Treads covers come in 8″, 10″, and 12″ depths.  Standard thickness is 1/8″ thick.  Stair tread covers perform well in most corrosive environments, including continuous moisture, salt, and constant cleaning.

Common uses

Typical uses would be universities, motels, aquatic and amusement parks, commercial office parks.  Any place where outdoor stairs are present.  They could also be used in water treatment facilities, oil and gas operations, food and beverage industry.

Installation Method

Standard 12 foot panels can easily be cut to size and installed on-site using a circular saw with an abrasive masonry blade.  Install using screws and masonry fasteners. Adhesive can be used in place of or in conjunction with mechanical fasteners.

 Diamond plate: 

Install utilizing Self-Tapping or Self-Drilling Screws or Rivets and Low Profile Head, Nuts, and Bolts. (Depending on your particular application)

  1. Self-Tapping and Self-Drilling Screws
  2. Rivets
  3. Low Profile Head Nuts, Lock Washer, and Bolts

Adhesive can be used in place of or in conjunction with mechanical fasteners.

Installation over Grating:

Install covers utilizing Universal Saddle Clip Assemblies with Slotted Truss Head Bolt, Nut and Lock Washer (All Stainless Steel)

The number of Saddle Clip Assemblies is directly influenced by the condition of the grating to be covered. New and good condition grating may not require as many Saddle Clip Assemblies. Good condition is considered flat/level and non-corroded.  Call to discuss your application.

Excellent for vacuuming with a great app

This thing is just awesome. I gave her name and some googly eyes, and now she is my official cleaning lady. Does a great job with dog hair which was the main reason for the purpose. I was vacuuming all the time. I have hard floors and 3 dogs one of which is a golden retriever that sheds like crazy. The D20 does really great getting up the pet hair along with other stuff in the floor. I have a couple area rugs as well as thick mats in front of the front and back doors, and she does great on both. I definitely make sure to get up any cables or little things like door stops as she will get caught up from time to time. The app works great and does a good job of sending alerts when there is an issue. It lets you know if it’s hung up on something, stick on an edge and if the cleaners are tangled up underneath along with other things. It’s really easy to flip over and take off the brushes to clean them out and untangle them, and easy to put it all back together. You can also schedule her to clean any time of day / night and customize how it cleans certain areas. I prefer to let her run late at night while me and the dogs are sleeping, and she gets the house done in about 90 minutes and covers a lot of ground. She’s also surprisingly quiet for as much as she is picking up. If I’m already awake, I can hear her start to roll around upstairs. But I’ve never been woken up by her, nor have my dogs. I have never used the mop feature as I bought it only for the vacuuming. From what I’ve read it seems there are better options for mopping. But as far as vacuuming goes I am super happy with her! I was vacuuming 3-4 times a week and would usually mop every other week, if ai could get away with it. Now I vacuum and mop once every two weeks, and Dreame does a wonderful job keeping the place clean in between my bi-weekly cleanings. The D20 was a great purchase and a major time and energy saver for me!

Well so far unable to actually use it to see how it works. I have to split my wifi every time I want to use it. It won't charge even when it's on the dock. When I push "charge" on the app it comes off the dock instead of recognizing that it's already on it and proceeds to roam around the house looking for the docking station that it just left. If it can't even find the docking station while sitting on it how can it properly clean the house? I just bought this after returning a defective AirZeen model.
